First day of school....HOORAY!!

We have had a wonderful, eventful summer but there is something so great about the kids going back to school! Julia started Kindergarten this year on September 4th and Tanner started preschool on September 8th. Julia, our social butterfly is doing so well and making lots of new friends. According to the aide that watches the kids until the parents pick them up, Julia has tried on several occasions to go home with her classmates. She tries to convince the aide that she's going to have a "playdate". Nice try Julia. :) She's a clever little turd though, I'll give her that! Tanner had a rough time during his first few days at preschool. He's such a momma's boy and has never been to daycare, so he would cling to me and even cried a few times. I'm happy to report that he is now a "big boy" and goes to school with no problems at all. In fact he tells me every morning I need to leave and come get him later. Ha ha. I'm so glad he's warmed up to his teachers and is enjoying his time there. Matt started school on September 8th also and has adjusted so well. He says he enjoys it and has made some new friends. Matt politely declined a back-to-school photo shoot, but I'll get him one of these days! :)
